Quality in Business Accreditation
We are pleased to announce that Wight Computers Ltd are the first IT service provider to have been awarded the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce’s Quality in Business accreditation.
The Quality in Business Accreditation Scheme is a business improvement tool designed to assist a business in reviewing its current practices and then look for areas that can be improved, to help improve quality and standards.
The scheme focuses on five key areas of business improvement which include customer care, the quality of products and services, the business environment, training & development, as well as reputation within the Island’s community.
I found the whole process of the Quality in Business assessment very productive.
Speaking with the IW Chamber’s assessors made me realise that Wight Computers Ltd have a lot of great things to shout about; such as our commitment to recycling and how we support local charities.
We will shortly be publishing a mission statement on our website to outline our business culture.
It is great to be one of the first companies on the Island to be accredited and the first in our sector, setting us apart from our competitors.
I would strongly encourage other Island businesses to apply.
Andrew Nordbruch, Managing Director of Wight Computers Ltd
We will be featured in the October issue of the Island Business magazine where you will be able to read more about the process.
Being recognised as a Quality in Business company demonstrates that your company has achieved high standards of good business practice and that you are serious about developing and growing your business.
The QIB mark also demonstrates to your customers that your business strives to provide the best quality products and services to its customers.
Kevin Smith, the IW Chamber’s Chief Executive
The Quality in Business accreditation lasts for three years and we will be seeking to renew it in 2019. You can find out more information about the QIB accreditation on the Chamber of Commerce’s website.
