Raspberry Pi project for Bembridge Harbour

Check out how we created a smart solution for Bembridge Harbour to display live tide height on multiple screens, using a Raspberry Pi computer

A screen showing the tide height

This week we were called out to Bembridge Harbour to help fix an issue with displaying the live tide height on multiple screens in the harbour.

As the information is already available on the Bembridge Harbour website, a Raspberry Pi (which is a small, low-cost computer) was perfect for the job.

A Raspberry Pi microcomputer

We programmed the micro-computer to automatically load a special webpage as soon as it turns on, and display this on the various screens so that daily visitors and staff can easily monitor the tide height.

Using a combination of technology and our skills, we were able to get their system up and running quickly and efficiently.

Have you seen our other smart Raspberry Pi projects?

We’ve also used them behind the scenes on our stand at the Business Expo in 2018 and all over the site at the 2019 Expo!
