WightAID Update

We feel privileged to work on this beautiful island helping other businesses and have always had an ongoing commitment to support local charities; from offering our IT support or software expertise, to donation of hardware, through to a share of our turnover.

Last year, as an Island founded and based company, we pledged our support via a regular monthly donation to The WightAID Foundation. The funding they provide comes entirely from Island companies, investors and individuals. It goes towards Isle of Wight causes which make a real difference to our unique community and the people they help. We are only too happy to play our own small part in their fundraising.

40 local charities and community groups helped in 2020

We are thrilled to hear that WightAID has now provided 187 grants, totalling £334,000 to 136 different charities. Just this year to date, the Foundation has helped 40 charities and community groups like Breast Cancer Now IW, Cruse Bereavement, Care in the Garden, Jigsaw Family Support and IOW Street Pastors – to name just a few. Congratulations WightAID!

Charitable Foundations like WightAID and the charities they help, would not have been able to make this happen without support from businesses such as ourselves. In a year of unprecedented challenges, for everyone and not least charitable causes, donations are precious and needed more than ever. Perhaps you or someone you know might also consider supporting WightAID?
